
The command-control engineer’s mission is to design, develop and integrate the control and automation systems present in the instruments. His range of technical skills includes a mastery of advanced mathematics for modeling systems, knowledge of the principles of systems theory to analyze and guarantee their stability, as well as skills in programming to develop control algorithms and in electronics to integrate sensors and actuators.
In 2024, the Instrumentation Sector implemented its control-command expertise for the MICADO and CTA projects.
